3... Nf6??

1. e4 e5 The King's pawn opening, (ECO C20) very common among both beginners and experts

2. Bc4 Nc6 Berlin Defence, C24

3. Qh5 Nf6?? Black does not notice the attack on the f7 square and promptly falls for a checkmate in 1.

A game hypothesis (3...g7 4.Qf3, threating Qxf7#, 4... Nf6) Black's position is getting quite comfortable.

Moving the queen at the beginning of the game if she cannot do anything of effective, is never a good choice: White cannot mate if black defends the key square. The simple g7 forces the queen to move away.
